When life comes hard at us or gets generally tough, we need even more power to fight back.
Adversity can be quite draining for us. But life is full of adversity. The solution lies in providing training to learn how to handle difficult situations in a healthier way. To train and improve one’s mental flexibility. So that instead of getting stressed and starting to feel worried, we can come back with new focus, power, and energy. To zoom out and find the calm within the storm.
There is a center within us, which gets messy when things are messy on the outside. The outside touches our thoughts, which go back to our center within us in the form of messy emotions.
As soon as life gets messy, the first step is to zoom out. Remove yourself from what is happening and get to your center to consciously control your emotions and thoughts and create calm.
From here, we can create new solutions that are good and right for us or accept that there may not be solutions right now and that this is also okay for the moment.
Because a stressed mind, body, and soul do not think clearly, we don't always act as we want, and we get too far from ourselves to feel safe and calm in something that is not safe at the moment.
Landing in that center when everything around is spinning is the starting point to handle situations that need a clear mind and the right power to act to move forward.
It is common to end up in this place from time to time in life, and it is helpful to zoom out and get distance between the feelings and the problems. Being flexible in one's mind and managing emotions is more important than we might like to admit. But it is so comforting when you start to experience that it is possible to be calm in the storm until it is over. It may come back again, but we know that it also always passes.
